A breakfast table in the kitchen undergoes tough wear and tear, since the family tends to use it so often. Laminates are prone to chipping with wear. Thankfully, they are also easy to repair with nothing more than a dab of Fevikwik. This repair is best done before the laminate chips and breaks off completely, and dries within no time. Wipe the chipping edge with a clean, dry cloth. Use a few drops of Fevikwik along the broken edge and press it back into place. Hold in place until the pieces stick together, and gentle remove the pressure of your fingers. Since an exact fit is essential, make sure the pieces are well aligned before the glue sets.
