Yes, Fevikwik is can help repair this, as it binds leather easily. Just dab a few drops of Fevikwik on to the strap, loop it through the metal tab, and hold it in place with a clothes pin or gripper until it sets. Do not use too much glue, as the streaks dry off into a white residue that could be rather hard to remove from faux leather or leather. If some of the adhesive oozes out of the joint, instantly wipe it off with a q-tip. Let the watch dry completely before you wear it again, to prevent any glue that hasn’t dried off being easily transfer onto your skin.
