How to fix a broken French Barrette

Often a French Barrette dislodges from its decorative top – be that a bow or a felt/satin flower. Fevikwik is a one drop instant adhesive, and a quick way to repair this. Carefully remove the felt that holds the metal clip and clean off any dirt or hair stuck to the surface. Open the barrette and slide the circle of felt through, making sure that the clip is aligned and the felt circle sits right in the middle of the clip. Apply drops of Fevikwik to the edges of the felt, moving through the circle. Press the felt with glue onto the broken top, and allow it to dry overnight.
